The name behind this product relates to Bonnie Prince Charlie who fled to the Isle of Skye after the Battle of Culloden while being pursued by the King’s men in 1746. The famous Skye Boat Song contains the lyric “Carry the lad that’s born to be king, over the sea to Skye.” Which is one of the inspirations behind this flower essence blend. The Label on this bottle has the Royal Stewart tartan which is the tartan of Bonnie Prince Charlie. The product (and all my products) contains Drambuie which is the family recipe of Bonnie Prince Charlie.
